In many rural areas of countries like Ghana, the population suffers from limited medical resources. A particular rare resource is a well trained nurse, who in such areas often acts as the only trained medical staff for all. These nurses cannot keep up-to-date with new medical procedures or further their training as their presence is required locally and they are unable to travel to the main cities for education and practical training. We provided them with web based training so that they can build on their skills and have a reference point when required.
