FICCIFLO, the non-for profit arm of FICCI is providing throughout India machines with female hygiene/menstruation products. The lack of know-how, and affordable and available solutions, is a big problem for girls and women in poor and rural areas.
We have teamed with FICCIFLO to bring awareness and education by adding educational inserts to their menstrual products/machines to teach girls and women about female reproduction and best hygiene practices. We are developing the written content as well as directions in pictorial form. The cost of content development is covered by MCN Foundation. We are raising funds to be able to produce the educational content in small packages so that we can deliver it through the FICCI-FLO vending machines and Women’s Happiness Kits that provide personal hygiene products for girls studying in government schools and shelter homes.

Scarlet Poppy Arte began as a need to address the problems the world faces with the trafficking of children and women around the planet. Through this mission they developed a brand that would empower, elevate and support the women and artisans that live in the remote towns and villages throughout India. As a result, the artisans of weaving, embroidery and tailoring, which were also at risk, became an integral part of the art that Scarlet Poppy Arte created.
SPA’s founder donated the entire collection of SPA to MCN foundation to help us raise funds for our projects. All SPA proceeds got to MCN Foundation.
