BUY A BIKE INDIA – PART ONE

Our bike project was completed successfully! The bikes were delivered to the Godase School in Lonavla, Maharashtra, India. The children of this rural school travel up to 10 km every day to get to and from school, often returning alone in the dark on traitorous roads.

 

This project was completed in collaboration with FICCI FLO. Mrs Sucheta Shah, Chair of the Maharashtra State Committee and Head of FICCI MSME Sector, Is shown in photo with the students.

 

This school has a 97% pass rate in state school exams which is a formidable achievement.

 

These bikes will remain with the school, once these students graduate, to be used by the next class of students.
