Summary
The Ethiopian Education foundation provides schooling for underprivileged yet dedicated students. The foundation ensures their futures empowering them with the skills that will enable them to transform their future. The EEF is ground zero for our interest in growth and development in African nations and other emerging economies.
It began when Amanda joined a friend in supporting one student. It evolved into Amanda participating in supporting the rescue of his sister from a forced child marriage, bringing her and her child to live with her brother. She and her son, Valeur, are also being educated. Being involved with this family, along with Amanda’s visits to Africa, inspired the creation of MCN Foundation.
